WHAT IS
NYCC CLIMATE CHAMPIONS FELLOWSHIP?

This is a flagship program aimed at empowering passionate young individuals to lead grassroots climate actions across India. We focus on leadership, advocacy, and community engagement by equipping our fellows with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to create meaningful environmental change at the grassroots.
In the past two years, we have worked with 62 Climate Champions from 33 States and UTs of India, built localised partnerships and represented themselves at national and international forums. What sets us apart is the agency young people have to bring localized context on the table and a focus on youth-government partnerships for strong advocacy at the grassroots.
NYCC is an initiative by Bring Back Green Foundation and supported by UNICEF YuWaah.
