Abhina led the Roots of Resilience wherein through mental mapping, participatory storytelling, baseline surveys, and nature-based learning, over 200 tribal elders, youth, and children documented land-use changes, biodiversity shifts, and climate-induced vulnerabilities. She strengthened youth leadership by training tribal youth as peer researchers, forming thematic climate groups, and organizing a three-day community climate camp integrating climate education, biodiversity monitoring, and cultural expression.

Currently, she focuses on research in human-wildlife conflict zones, examining socio-psychological well-being in tribal communities and building community-led pathways for resilience and inclusion.
