Pothanaka Manideep

Manideep Pothanaka, a management professional from Kamareddy, Telangana, brings expertise in finance, operational strategy, and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful, youth-led climate action. A former Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) Innovation Mithra, his work reflects a strong focus on data-driven solutions, partnerships, and scalable community impact. During his tenure as an NYCC Climate Champion, he led Climate Yuva, mobilising over 380+ youth and community members to strengthen climate literacy and civic responsibility. Through school and college sessions, climate pledge campaigns, and lake clean-up drives at Kamareddy Cheruvu, the initiative prevented nearly 800 kg of plastic waste from entering local ecosystems while promoting water conservation and waste management. Working closely with the Municipal Council, District Forest Office, and Pollution Control Board, Manideep built strong youth-government collaboration. Amplified through digital outreach and institutional partnerships, his work demonstrates how strategic management approaches can scale grassroots environmental action.
